A visual artist residing in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Maddie works in various media and styles, affording her the opportunity to constantly develop her creative concepts. She has shown work nationally and internationally, with private collectors world-wide. After braving the northeast corner of Oklahoma to attend Rogers State University and earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Maddie moved back to Illinois where she currently teaches all things art to angst-ridden teenagers at Jacobs High School in Algonquin. As education has become a strong passion that will be a life-long endeavor, she earned her Master of Arts in Teaching with a K-12 visual arts endorsement from North Park University. Maddie also serves as a member on the Elgin Cultural Arts Commission, which allows her to support the growth of Elgin’s artistic community.
